Perth NEEDS a NEW Perth Sexual Health Clinic & Community Hub For Advocacy & Support Groups to end the tired and toxic old BBV models that have entrenched gravy train mentalities and bullying and are so hated by the vast majority of HIV Consumers in WA.
This Discussion Paper! “Modernising, Moving On & Putting Health Consumers First in Western Australia!” was authored by the HIV Consumer Alliance of WA as the lead author, with inputs from Positive Sisters of Australia, OPI Perth, Friends of the WA AIDS Memorial & the Perth Sister's HIV Institute of WA.

A New Vision to end the Tired and Toxic Old Models that no one wants to go to.
A New Regulated, Free, One Stop Shop Model, Perth Sexual Health Clinic, that Merges ALL BBV & STI in a high Viz location for Regional & Overseas Visitors to Perth, to Streamline Service Delivery, End the Costly Duplication of Services, Increase Treatment Uptake & Enable More Effective Prevention Strategies.
A Community Hub, Staffed by Qualified Advocacy & Support Professionals to Empower Health Consumers to undertake Peer Led Community Development through Engagement & Advocacy Groups.
A New Century Approach will deliver Better & Broader Outcomes in the area of Health and Mental Health through a better spend of Existing Funding.
This approach will also enable the Government to start addressing the health problems of the Meth Crisis and it's linked Domestic Violence Crisis which are rampant in the HIV Community of WA but are being covered up and under reported by the AIDS Establishment.
It's time for health epidemiology not ideology to be the key determinant of health programming. It's clear that the BBV & STI sector have been infiltrated by far left extremist ideology that privileges the interests of drug users and sex workers rather than providing equal representation for all members of the HIV Community of WA.
